    Listed under the UNESCO World Heritage Site as the Group of monuments at Hampi and dating back to the 2nd century, this city was also one of the most opulent cities in the world at its peak of the Medieval world. Located in Hampi, the Vittala temple complex captured in this drawing was built in the 15th century houses the iconic stone chariot, which has made its way onto the ₹50 bill of the Indian currency.
